Reddit Toolkit
The Reddit toolkit integrates Reddit's API into Arcade, enabling LLMs to read, post, and interact with Reddit content on behalf of authenticated users.
Capabilities
- Identity & access checks: Retrieve the authenticated user's username and verify whether a subreddit exists and is accessible (public, private, or restricted).
- Post discovery & reading: Fetch posts from a subreddit by listing type and time range; retrieve post content individually or in bulk for efficiency; get the authenticated user's own posts sorted by recency.
- Community context: Fetch subreddit rules and top-level comments for a post to inform moderation-aware or context-aware interactions.
- Content creation & engagement: Submit text posts to a subreddit, comment on posts, and reply to existing comments.
OAuth
This toolkit uses OAuth 2.0 via the Reddit auth provider. See the Arcade Reddit provider docs for setup instructions, required scopes, and configuration details.
